About Me
I have been practicing as a therapist since 2014. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies with a specialization in Buddhism. I have worked in diverse community mental health settings, on a college campus, and in private practice. I have also served as the director for a counseling center in Bangladesh. I provide services in English and Bengali.

My approach is collaborative in nature. I partner with clients in order to understand their unique life circumstances and goals for therapy. Change happens when clients participate actively in the therapeutic process.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, which allows me to tailor treatment to address the individualized needs of my clients. I draw from person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-informed Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Buddhist Philosophy.
